Are there places I cannot drive?

Updated over a week ago

We know you’d love to take your JUCY or Star RV absolutely everywhere, but our vehicles are designed to stay on sealed roads only.

Please avoid:

Driving in any off-road conditions or on unsealed roads, or any surface likely to damage the vehicle. This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Fire trails

  • Beaches and sand tracks

  • Fields or paddocks

  • Gravel or unsealed roads

  • Specific restricted roads such as Ninety Mile Beach, Ball Hutt Road (Mount Cook), and Skippers Canyon Road in New Zealand

Important – Excess Cover Exclusions

Your Excess Cover will not apply if the vehicle is driven in off-road conditions.

Off-road conditions include any road not sealed with a hard surface such as tar, bitumen, or concrete. This also includes fire trails, beaches, sand, tracks, fields, and paddocks.

Exception: Reasonable use of access roads (less than 12 kilometres in length) leading to recognised commercial campgrounds is permitted.

For full details, please refer to the Terms and Conditions available on our website.
